Built illegaly in the 1920s by the poorest workers and turned into a hipster quarter in the 1960s, shanty town “Kamenná kolonie” is probably the most poetic neighborhood of Brno.
A shanty-town-turned-into-an-artist-community, Kamenná kolonie, is still mourning for Stefan Schoedel, German guy working in Brno, who died from a middle ear infection two weeks ago.
