Burned casino may be transformed into an office building before the end of the world

Welcome to Brno!

Welcome to Brno!

The ruin of “Chepos” building will finally stop scaring the guts out of people arriving to Brno main station. Its owner wants to repair it before the end of 2012.

For nine years it has served as a decaying shelter for bums. Partially covered by a huge advertisement, it was the first thing to be seen after walking out of the main train station or bus station “U Grandu”.

Now this is probably going to change, as the new owner wants to transform the former casino into an office building. The always crowded underground passage beneath it is supposed to remain open for public, although the – mostly Vietnamese – stand-owners have to close their businesses.

if the owner wants to repair the building before the end of the WORLD should hurry a bit.

Anyway is gonna be a big loss for the city and its beauty, such a lovely example of ‘lazystic’ art just at the first point of contact for turists and travellers, such warm ‘welcome’ to the city of Brno should stay there for ever :)

Finally! Jesus, what a bunch of lazy bums! It’s such an eye sore and it’s embarrassing…but there are a few things about Brno that need to be changed to make the city a little less embarrassing.
