Restored Moravské náměstí sq. looks nice

by Michal Kašpárek on October 2, 2010

It used to be just an ugly parking lot right in the centre of the town – but after a recent restoration, Moravské náměstí sq. looks just like a nice historical square.

New statue of Justice in front of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic. The water flow was reduced, so it should not leak anymore.

The model is blind-friendly, as it is has a Braille legend and it is low enough to be touched even by small kids.

The nearby traffic junction at Joštova/Česká st. will have been fully repaired by the beginning of November.

Municipal autorities do really good job converting centre of Brno to pretty nice – but dead zone. I listened to shop assistants – less and less customers. Who is going to spend time in the center? Homeles? Gipsy gangs?
Even pub visitors like to drive their car nowdays prefering good meal to getting drunk.
And Justice showing its ass to The Court? I understand the message!
