The central square of Brno has a new attraction – a small sand beach with several sunbeds and a bar. A beach volleyball court is likely to be constructed in several days.

There is no entrance fee; the beach will be open until the end of September.

Travel industry expert Tomio Okamura told Czech television that the beach has one problem – there is no water, except for showers.

To make this experience even more atractive, you can now (till this friday midnight) buy a voucher to get two mojitos in the price of one (99,- CZK) – http://www.vykupto.cz/brno/.

The website is in czech, but is quite intuitive. The discount is activated when 30 people buy the voucher (there are already 28). After you click on “Koupit” (= “buy it”) you receive an email with bank transfer information. After your money is delivered to the destination bank account, you get the voucher by e-mail. Easy ;-)
