On Sunday, June 6, a nice event for kids with families will be held in the court of Špilberk castle. Soldiers dressed in 18th century uniforms will have a short parade, they are going to show kids old cannons and then there will be several competitions.

At 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., two battles for Špilberk will take a place at the northern side of the castle. (Correct me if I am wrong but I think there has been no battle for Špilberk between Russians and Germans, so it is just a fiction, not a re-enactment of actual historical events.)

General Leopold Joseph von Daun and Holy Roman empress Maria Theresa of Austria will keep an eye on the event.

The events starts at 10 a.m., ends at 5 p.m. and as far as I know from the official invitation, there is free entrance.
