The most important fair held in Brno and probably the number-one-event of the Czech industry begins at the Brno Exhibition Centre on Monday, September 14.

51st International Engineering Fair will last four days and it will bring many foreign businessmen and companies to Brno, to present their technologies and solutions.

“There will be 1,500 participating companies from 28 countries of the world, bringing the best of their produce to Brno in order to meet their present marketing goals,” according to the official web site. “After Germany the countries with strongest representation will be of Slovakia with 80 exhibitors, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland. There are many new exhibitors coming from Europe, as well as from Asian countries.”

Brno Exhibition Centre itself is facing problems during the crisis — the owners have fired some employees, including CEO Jiří Škrla.

Beware of traffic jams

Traffic will be stuck between Monday and Thursday, esp. around the Exhibition ground and in the southern and western parts of Brno. Be patient!
