18 churches in Brno and some more churches in other moravian towns will host a “night of churches” this Friday. There will be concerts, exhibitions, sermons and games for kids from 5 p.m. to 12. p.m. I just can not pick a single event — if you’re interested, just go to the centre and check the churches personally.
The event is held to make churches more atractive for people who don’t go there regulary. Czech republic is believed to be the most atheist country in the Europe, with only 11.7% of people going to church at least once a month.
Sadly, the website of “Night of churches” does not have an English version.

It is often stated via the internet, that CZ has the highest rate of atheism in the modern world. Maybe these venues offer free Pilsner Urquel for the holy attendees? Just wondering…
