Online newspaper iDnes just reported that the highly controversial exhibition “Bodies revealed” opens at Olympia shopping mall on June 2.
Spectators of the exhibition may observe polymer-preservated corpses arranged in ways considered barbarous by some people. The bodies are dissected and their organs exposed, skin of the dead people is removed to reveal muscles and other tissue. However, Premier Exhibition Inc. claims that the show popularizes science:
Countless visitors have remarked that the knowledge gained from the experience has provided them with a new connection to their own bodies. Others claim a new reverence for life and a desire to take a more preventative approach to their health care.
Bodies Revealed will be open all summer long, until September 10. Tickets will cost CZK 250 to CZK 350 (€9.30 to €13.10). See Olympia on a map.
