I almost forgot to write about the events of the upcoming weekend!

The town council wisely joined the celebrations of Childrens’ Day with the festives for 17 european ministers of agronomy that have a congress in Brno these days. On Sunday, May 31, there will be a traditional fair held at Zelný trh sq. Kids can see goats and other animals, their parents will be allowed to taste Czech beer and Moravian wine.

If you are into military history, there’s an alternative: attend the “Battle of Midway” reenacted with model ships and airplanes at Mariánské údolí on 2 p.m.

And of course: don’t forget about the fireworks!
