Joe Hloucha was the founder of the Japanese Studies in Czechoslovakia, who travelled to the Orient for several times in the first half of the 20th century. He collected thousands of artifacts; some of these will be exposited in the Institute of Etnography (Koblizna street 1) until September 5.

Part of the presentation are black-and-white, hand-colored photographs, personal effects, etc. The exhibition has been prepared in cooperation with the Náprstek Museum.
